Old York Farms is a privately-owned attraction and event venue surrounding the Joseph Corry residence off of School Street in the former community of York, now Oakman, in southern Walker County. Corry operated a grist mill and served as the community's postmaster. His house was used as a post office and as a recruiting station for the Confederate army.
Harold Corry, who purchased the property from his mother in 1992, began relocating or recreating other buildings to the site and filling them with antiques. He recreated the Chamborden Saloon with its original bar, cabinets and mirror. Harold's son Richard "Bull" Corry, a former Mayor of Oakman, has continued that project and began opening the site to festivals, concerts and other events, including weddings and reunions. He opened the Bull Pen Steakhouse near the road as an anchor, with the "Old York Opry" music hall adjoining.
The property was used as a filming location for the feature Hell on the Border.
