Our Place is a resturant located at 1218 Main Street in Gardendale that serves breakfast and lunch. It is owned and operated by Steve and Evelyn Stathakes and opened in 1997.

Steve's father, George Stathakes, who worked at the restaurant for many years, passed away in 2013. He was affectionately known as "Pops" and was the former owner of The Coffee Cup and the Hickory Hut in Five Points West.

Prior to opening Our Place the Stathakes owned Gus's Barbecue on Decatur Highway in Gardendale from 1986 to 1995.

In January and February of 2012, local artist JoAnn Rhea spent four weeks working on a mural at the restaurant. Rhea painted a Greek cityscape depicting a nightfall scene from the city of Santorini that features at least 50 buildings.
