Oxmoor Valley Elementary School is a school in the Birmingham City Schools system, constructed in 2013 to serve students in Southwest Birmingham and Oxmoor Valley. It accepted the elementary grades when Jones Valley K-8 School was converted to a middle school. The principal is Gwendolyn Tilghman.
Oxmoor Valley Elementary School was designated a "failing school" in early 2016 because of students' relatively low scores in the reading and math portions of the ACT Aspire test. The school was taken off of the list of "failing schools" in 2017.
