Railroad Avenue (Trussville) is an east-west commercial street in Trussville. The road runs parallel with Main Street (Trussville) beginning in the west at Chalkville Road and continuing north-east until terminating at Trussville City Hall.
The road, which previously ended after a block at Cedar Street, was extended to the City Hall property in 2015 in an attempt to alleviate traffic backups at the Chalkville Road and Main Street intersection, and improve drainage to help with flooding which had long been an issue in the area.
