Randall Horton (born in Birmingham) is an author and poet.

Horton is a 1979 graduate of Parker High School. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in English at Howard University and the University of the District of Columbia. He then went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at Chicago State University. He is currently a doctoral student at the State University of New York in Albany.
