Joseph Randall "Randy" Mixon (born 1956; died May 13, 2008) was a Captain for the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service and President of the Forestdale Lions Club.

Mixon was the son of Jack and Hattie Mixon. He joined the Birmingham Fire Department in 1984 as a paramedic. He was promoted to Captain in 2003.

Mixon died of a an apparent stroke in May 2008. He survived by his wife, Leslie, a sister, Renita, two daughters, Brandy and Christy, and two grandchildren. He is interred at Crestview Memorial Gardens.

On the same month he died, Mixon was scheduled to accompany members of Billy Gafford's family to Roanoke, Virginia for a memorial service for emergency medical technicians who had died in the line of duty.
