Robert Turner Optical was a chain of opticians and eyeglass retailers founded by Robert Turner Sr.
The chain was purchased in 1986 by John Katopodis, who planned to expand it statewide. He employed adult film star Ryan Idol to perform in commercials for the business.
The chain was bankrupted in 1993.
