Rosedale Flats is a 16-condominium development proposed by Kent Campbell of Cubed LLC for the Rosedale area. Each 900-square-foot unit would have one bedroom, one bathroom, and sell for about $175,000.

The condos would be situated atop a 40-foot bluff above 18th Street South in Homewood, providing views of Vulcan and downtown Homewood. Part of the land is currently undeveloped, but zoned commercial. Campbell has asked Homewood to rezone this section and vacate 8900 feet of right of way to extend 25th Court South to the site. The Homewood Planning Commission endorsed the rezoning in November 2007. The Homewood City Council must next approve the measures for work to proceed.
