Samantha Shaw

Samantha Shaw (born February 10, 1957 in Homewood) is an accountant, member of the Alabama State Republican Executive Committee, and a Republican candidate for State Auditor.

Shaw earned a Bachelor's in family and child development from Auburn University in 1979 and went back to Auburn to earn a second degree in business administration in 1993. She has worked as a bookkeeper, accountant and office manager as well as serving the Republican Party's Montgomery and statewide committees.

In the 2006 primary election she finished second behind Wes Allen to become the Republican candidate for State Auditor. This is her first political campaign.
