Seth D. Bobbitt (born March 24, 1979 in Alabaster) is a right-handed baseball pitcher who was drafted from Birmingham-Southern College by the Houston Astros in the 28th round of the 2001 amateur entry draft.

He holds game records for "most strikeouts looking" (5), "most caught stealing by" (3), "most doubles allowed" (4, two times), "most wild pitches" (3), and "most sacrifice hits allowed" (3). He holds the season record for hit batters (15) and wild pitches (13) and is among the workingest pitchers in BSC's recent history with 447 batters faced in his 11-3 2001 season in which the Panthers won the NAIA national championship. As a member of that team he was inducted into the BSC Sports Hall of Fame.

Bobbitt played two years in the Astros system, first as a reliever for the Pittsfield (Pennsylvania) Astros where he racked up 5 saves in 8 appearances with an ERA of 1.61. In his next year with the Lexington (Kentucky) Legends he joined the starting rotation, going 7-4 in 14 appearances with a 3.08 ERA.

Bobbitt, hurt by a torn rotator cuff, did not play for two years, but was signed by the Atlanta Braves at a tryout camp at Georgia Southern University when he was clocked throwing 96 MPH. He was named one of the top 5 prospects from that year's pre-draft workouts by TeamOneBaseball.com joined the Braves organization in 2005, moving up quickly through the ranks. With the Low-A Rome Braves he allowed 1 hit in 3 innings of work with no runs. For the High-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans he went 3-0 in 9 games with an ERA of 4.58. On August 21 he was promoted to the AA Mississippi Braves where he made two appearances. He does not appear in the organization's 2006 roster.

Bobbitt was highly critical of Birmingham-Southern's decision to move out of Division I in 2006.
