SideBar or SideBar Cafe is a 6,000 square-foot bar and restaurant at 2929 7th Avenue South in Lakeview. It was opened in late 2013 by John Davis Conner as a steamed sandwich shop and bar.
Conner renovated the former Barking Kudu building, which he leased from owner Crawford Williams. The target opening date was the last week of October 2013.
In 2016 the bar added a raised beach volleyball court.
