Smith Furniture was a furniture dealership located at 1915 Avenue E in Ensley. It was founded in 1910 as Harris-Lovelady Furniture by F. O. Harris. Scott Smithson, husband of Harris' great-niece, bought the company in 1982 and ran it until retiring, earlier than expected, when he closed the business in August 2008.
