SouthPoint Bank

SouthPoint Bank is a Birmingham-based bank which opened in October 2005 with a branch at 3500 Colonnade Parkway, at the intersection of US Highway 280 and Interstate 459 in Birmingham. The bank has plans to expand into the cities of Gardendale, Chelsea, Trussville and Pelham or Alabaster. Steve Smith is president and CEO of the bank which was formed by former SouthTrust Bank employees after the merger with Wachovia.
