The Southern Aircraft Corporation, founded in 1926 by Glenn Messer at the Birmingham Municipal Airport, was an airplane manufacturer. The company turned out the Air Boss single-engine biplane until 1930 and also developed a design for a controllable propeller which was purchased by another manufacturer.
