The Springville Road Regional Branch Library is a regional branch of the Birmingham Public Library, located at 1224 Springville Road in Huffman's Spring Lake neighborhood near Huffman High School.
The current library replaced the Huffman Branch Library which had been in operation since 1963. Using funds from the city's 1977 bond issue, the new 17,000 square foot building was designed as a regional branch, with more reference materials and community resources than the smaller neighborhood branch libraries. The brick-clad building with a raised, central skylit circulation area, was designed by Kidd, Wheeler, Plosser. It opened in September 1981.
