* Per this [[https://www.birminghamtimes.com/2017/09/autocar-chooses-birmingham-for-truck-assembly-plant/ Birmingham Times]] article, the plant lies within both Center Point and Birmingham's corporate limits. I know that Center Point annexed the area that became [[Southern Comfort]] before the [[2006]] relocation. I believe Autocar is using the entire complex, as opposed to Southern Comfort which was only using one building, meaning that some of the buildings could possibly be in Birmingham. Directly across Pinson Valley Parkway is Jefferson State, which is in Birmingham's limits. Yes, I know it's very spotty out there and very hard to keep up with. Our article states the plant is in unincorporated Jefferson County, and unless there are objections, I will change it to reflect what is in the Birmingham Times article. City Limits?

  • Per this Birmingham Times article, the plant lies within both Center Point and Birmingham's corporate limits. I know that Center Point annexed the area that became Southern Comfort before the 2006 relocation. --Wheresdib (talk) 07:15, 18 December 2020 (PST)
