Dates
According to the Birmingham News article, Snow was Homewood's interim superintendent in 1978, 1988, and 1991. The 1988 date must be incorrect. I was attending Homewood High School at the time, and Robert F. Bumpus was superintendent from 1985 to 1991. I suspect they meant 1985 instead of 1988, but will refrain from specifying that until I have a source. (I'm afraid I don't recall an interim superintendent, but I probably wasn't paying attention.)
