Tape Village was a Birmingham-based chain of music stores. The company, incorporated as Huntcan Enterprises, was founded by Z. W. Ford III in July 1969. The store specialized in 8-track tapes, but also sold vinyl records and accessories. In 1972 Ford planned to also stock playback equipment.

In 1970 Tape Village had four locations, two in Birmingham at the Mountain Brook Shopping Center and Roebuck Shopping Center, as well as stores in Tuscaloosa and Auburn.

In Birmingham, Tape Village served as a retail location for advance tickets to the WVOK-AM "Shower of Stars" events.
