Tascaluza, also spelled Tuskalusa, Tuskaloosa, or Tuscaloosa, meaning "black warrior" (died 1540) was a Choctaw leader and head of the Mississippian town of Mauvila (or Mabila).

He led his town in battle against a Spanish band led by Hernando de Soto, known as the Battle of Mauvila. After his defeat, De Soto had Tascaluza executed.

The city of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, and the Black Warrior River are named for Tascaluza.
