Teresa Thorne

Teresa K. Thorne (born April 17, 1954 in Montgomery) is the executive director of City Action Partnership.

Thorne formerly served on the Birmingham Police Department, retiring with the rank of captain.

Thorne served on Mayor Bernard Kincaid's Commission to Prevent and End Chronic Homelessness in 2007.

Thorne also wrote the screenplay for Yuri Shapochka's short film "Six Blocks Wide" and a 2013 book detailing the criminal investigation into the bombing of 16th Street Baptist Church.
