Terry W. Johnson was a founder of Cablevision and co-founder of Masada Resource Group.

Johnson graduated from the Georgia Technical Institute in Atlanta with a degree in engineering, and worked for NASA. He moved into the cable television business in the 1970s. In partnership with Daryl Harms he expanded into cellular communications and home security, under the Masada Security Holdings banner. The company later expanded into other businesses, using "Masada" as the name for the overall holding company.

Johnson succeeded Hank Appleton as president and CEO of the Bessemer-based Trillion Digital Communications in July 2001.
