The Chapel

Spike's Leather Club is a bar and specialty shop serving the leather and BDSM community in Birmingham. It is owned by Rod Caldwell, Jeffrey Hall and Ivan Reyes and opened in on February 10, 2016 in the former Cabbages and Kings building at 620 27th Street South in Lakeview.

Unlike most of Birmingham's other gay bars, Spike's doesn't feature drag shows. Though it focuses on queer leather fetish interests, it welcomes anyone. The club has a dance floor and DJ booth as well as a leather shop and changing rooms for patrons. The club has hosted numerous events, including fund-raisers, art classes, and private parties.
