Theatre Downtown is a live-theatre production company which currently holds performances at 5th Avenue Antiques, 2410 5th Avenue South.

The group was founded in 2006 by Billy Ray Brewton and Cindy deSa as an alternative to existing live-theatre groups operating in Birmingham, leaning towards cutting-edge contemporary theatre.

Theatre Downtown also hosts showings of films in their "Rare and Used Film Series".
