Vasthy E. Mompoint (born September 7, 1980 in Hoover) is an actress, singer and voice-over performer.

Mompoint is the daughter of Parnel and Dr Marie Mompoint, Haitian immigrants who settled in Hoover. She attended Hoover High School where she competed in track and field. On the advice of her coaches, Mompoint began taking ballet classes to help with her hurdling technique. She enjoyed dancing and became interested in theater through her tap teacher, Cindy Larsen. After graduating in 1998 she moved to New York to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Since relocating, Mompoint has performed in numerous off-Broadway productions, and has been part of the ensemble cast in several Broadway shows, beginning with "Good Vibrations" in 2005. She trained as an understudy for the roles of Clara and Louise in "Ghost" in 2012, and for the role of Nina in "Soul Doctor". In 2014 Mompoint played the role of Linda McKenna/Apollo Girl in "Rocky". In December 2017 she began appearing in several roles in the musical "SpongeBob SquarePants".

Outside theater, Mompoint has provided the voice for "Layla" in the English version of the Italian children's television series "Winx Club". She is engaged to Mason Granger, a performer in a traveling children's poetry group.
