Walton Hardy Creel (born November 12, 1975 in Birmingham) is a visual artist internationally-recognized for his "deweaponizing the gun" series featuring large animal portraits created with .22 bullet holes shot through painted metal panels.

Creel, who also works as an information technology specialist at UAB, was featured as the "2008 Emerging Artist" for the Magic City Art Connection. He is married to jewelry designer/retailer Chatham Hellmers.
