Dale Quin

Dale Elizabeth Quin (born May 7, 1955 in Birmingham; died August 30, 2012 in Birmingham) was a long-time English teacher at Vestavia Hills High School.

Quin, the daughter of High and Florence Quin of Birmingham, graduated from West End High School and attended Samford University. She earned a bachelor of arts in 1977 and a master's in English in 1982. She began teaching at Vestavia Hills after graduating. In addition to teaching English, she sponsored the Reveille yearbook staff, the Hope Service Club, and the National Honor Society. She also assisted with coordination of costumes for the school's theater department.

Quin taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and English as a second language at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She died in 2012 after an extended illness. She was survived by a brother, Michael.
