Flowers Baking Company

The Flowers Baking Company is a bakery owned by Flowers Foods of Thomasville, Georgia.

Since 1999 the company has operated the former Home Baking Company bakery at 900 16th Street North in downtown Birmingham.

The company's distribution center and retail store, which first opened in 1963, was relocated from 413 Finley Avenue to the Daniel Payne Industrial Park in 2010. The 10,000 square foot facility was constructed for $1.3 million.
