Green Springs Center is a strip shopping center located at 428-430 Green Springs Highway in Homewood.
In March 1993 The Comedy Club was destroyed by a fire which broke out during the Blizzard of 1993. Club owner Bruce Ayers had just negotiated a new 10-year lease which included renaming the shopping center Comedy Club Plaza, but ended up relocating to the Comedy Club Stardome in Hoover instead.
