James Green

James E. Green was an early-twentieth-century Birmingham architect known for his Baptist churches. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Locally, he designed this church (later Macedonia Seventh Street Baptist Church) South Avondale Baptist Church (later Redeemer Community Church) and Grace Episcopal Church.

Other works included the 1914 building of First Baptist Church, Sylacaugua, Alabama.
