Jeff Tyson

Jeff "J.T." Tyson is a radio announcer and talk show host for Clear Channel-owned stations WMJJ and WERC. He grew up in Pennsylvania, graduating from Clarion University and working with the Actor's Workshop in Pittsburgh.

For 25 years he worked at radio stations around the country before settling in Birmingham to reunite with his wife, Judy.

He has done a good bit of voice-over work and has appeared in commercials and in minor roles in the films Hoffa (1992) and Striking Distance (1993). He has also taken the stage in small roles for the Alabama Ballet's productions of The Nutcracker and Peter Pan

The Tysons are members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. Jeff and Judy have two children, Alexa and Michael. His "Afternoon Drive" show is carried in Atlanta, Sarasota, Houston and Philadelphia as well as Birmingham.
