La’Quaylin Parhm Mack (born in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is the Assistant Chief of Police for the Birmingham Police Department.

Pahrm Mack grew up in unstable households, passed between family members and foster parents. She graduated from high school while in the custody of a young aunt, and went on to community college. After some time in the workforce she went back to school and completed a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership at Purdue University.

After her brother died from gun violence, she and her daughter moved to Birmingham where she was hired as a code inspector for the Birmingham Department of Public Works, driving around the city investigating reports of unkempt yards, illegal dumping and abandoned vehicles.

From there she went through the Birmingham Police Academy and transferred to the Birmingham Police Department, starting off as a patrol officer in Titusville. She was promoted to the Community Services division, overseeing the department's "Volunteers in Public Services" program as well as police interns. From there she was assigned to Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and to a role with the Special Events Unit. She later served as executive assistant to the chief of police and as executive liaison for the Birmingham Real Time Crime Center project team.

During her career, Pahrm Mack has developed and reorganized several programs. She instituted GED classes at Birmingham City Jail and Spanish language classes for police personnel. She has taken advantage of opportunities to improve her credentials by earning a Certificate in Volunteer Administration, a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University, and a master of business administration degree in project management from Columbia Southern University.

Parhm Mack was promoted to Assistant Chief in November 2021.
