This is a List of Birmingham homicides in 1923. It includes homicide cases occurring within the city limits during the calendar year. Note that not all homicides are ultimately ruled to be murder in courts of law.
According to Kenneth Barnhart's survey of Jefferson County Board of Health statistics, Birmingham had 104 homicides in 1923, a rate of 50.6 per 100,000 population. Of those, 24 victims were white (19.1 per 100,000) and 80 were Black (99.1 per 100,000).
