Oscar Smith

Oscar T. Smith is the former director of the Bessemer Public Library. He was hired in 2008 and terminated by the board in July 2009. He was succeeded by interim director Shirley Cotton.

He had previously worked as public services librarian for the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library in Columbus, Mississippi.
