The Planters' Journal' was a monthly regional newspaper publication of the National Cotton Planters' Association of America with local publication offices located at 1812-1814 2nd Avenue North.

Edited by Jas. J. Mitchell, the Journal's stated mission was to keep pace with the demand for an intelligent discussion of all subjects which it is the mission of a practical farmers' journal to treat. In 1887 subscriptions cost $1.50 per year.
