Backstory

According to Lynn Davis the home was built in 1920 by Robert Jemison and was designed by architect Joseph Turner (1855-1926) for himself and his new bride, inspired by houses they visited during their honeymoon trip to Europe. This story is not supported by other sources. Also Turner was well into his 60s by 1920 and had been married to his second wife for some time already. --Dystopos (talk) 20:57, 29 December 2023 (CST)
