The Rivals of Amziah King is a 2024 feature film directed by Andrew Patterson and starring Matthew McConaughey and Joey Shear, with Kurt Russell in a supporting role.

The independent film was produced by Black Bear Pictures. Although the setting for the story is rural Oklahoma, most of the film was shot between mid-June and early August 2023 in the Birmingham area, including scenes at J & J Grocery and Deli in Bessemer, The Frosty Mug in Jasper, the former Jean's on the River in Cordova, the Pell City Steakhouse, and Elvin Hill Elementary School in Columbiana.

Although the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) voted to strike in July 2023, a waiver was granted for members, including McConaughey, to continue work on the independent production.
