Tom Caldwell

Tom Caldwell (born 1926 - died October 21, 2008 near Cherokee, North Carolina) was a pediatrician who practiced in Birmingham from 1954 to 1996. He was also an amateur historian and genealogist and a member of the Birmingham Quilters Guild.

Caldwell and his wife, Cathryn were killed in an automobile accident while visiting western North Carolina in October 2008.
