Willie Davis

Willie Davis (born in Birmingham; died June 2011 in Africa) was chief of staff for former Birmingham Mayor Richard Arrington Jr.

Davis grew up in the Loveman's Village housing project. After serving in Arrington's administration he went to work for Washington D. C. mayor Marion Berry. After returning to Birmingham he served as vice-president of the Hillman Park neighborhood association.

Davis died during a medical missions trip to Africa in 2011.
