Wynelle Lowery Park is a 10.7-acre "neighborhood park" in Birmingham's park system. It is located adjacent to the former Stonewall Jackson Elementary School (which closed in 2013) and opposite the Buckeye Fuel Terminal in the West End Manor neighborhood.
Originally named Stonewall Jackson Park, it was rededicated in October 1931 in memory of Ensley native Wynelle Lowery, a park supervisor who was also president of the co-ed student council at Birmingham-Southern University, who had been struck and killed by an automobile a year earlier.
The park has three baseball diamonds, two small and one large, a practice area with a backstop, and a batting cage for baseball. Two of the fields are lit for evening use. The park also has a soccer field, an outdoor basketball court, and a playground. A parking area off of Mims Avenue has 59 spaces.
The park's athletic fields were dedicated to Piper Davis Youth Baseball League founder Fred Plump in March 2022.
