James Clark (born in Houston, Texas) is a singer and songwriter, based in Birmingham.
Clark began singing in nightclubs at age nine. Over his career in music he has written over 600 original songs in a variety of styles, including jazz, R & B, Soul, country, pop and rock. He collaborated with Ray Reach on an album of R&B songs in 1997. Since 1998, Clark has been part of the music team at MountainTop Community Church. Clark's second album, also produced by Reach, applies R&B stylings to christian compositions for a distinct contemporary sound.
