The UAB West Pavilion is a 10-story building that is located at 615 18th Street South and is part of the UAB Medical Center. It was designed by Helmuth, Obata & Kassabaum and built in 1991 by Dunn Construction. The building was officially dedicated on October 17, 1991.

It connects on multiple levels to the UAB Medical Education Building, the Spain Wallace Building, and the Boshell Diabetes Building. A pedestrian crosswalk also connects it to the Civitan International Research Center.
