KultureCity

KultureCity is a non-profit organization founded to support families with members on the autism spectrum which has expanded to provide programs and services for families with members affected by a broad range physical and behavioral disorders, including allergies. It is located at 732 Montgomery Highway in the Vestavia Hills City Center, and is headed by physician Julian Maha, whose son has autism.

Among its many programs, KultureCity is working to create a smartphone application to provide reliable information to parents about businesses, venues and events which provide accommodations for visitors with specific allergies or physical or behavioral disabilities. The beta version of the application was released in 2017 in Birmingham and three other cities. The company also partnered with the National Basketball Association to highlight teams that provide special accommodations for fans.
