The American Negro League Baseball Association is an association made up of former Negro League baseball players and supporters. The group has been raising funds to open a Negro Leagues museum in downtown Birmingham's Civil Rights District. They have a contract on the Booker T. Washington Building at 17th Street and 3rd Avenue North.

Though the group is not affiliated with the Alabama Negro League Association which is also planning a museum, they agreed to work with a city-authorized board to combine their efforts.
