The 2009 Stars Fell on Alabama Nationals was the National Forensic League's 2009 national high school debate tournament, hosted by Deep South Debate in the Birmingham area from June 13-20, 2009.

The event began with registration at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel. The tournament's opening ceremony took place at Samford University's Leslie S. Wright Fine Arts Center.

The schedule of policy, public forum and Lincoln-Douglas debate events began on June 15 at Oak Mountain High School, Spain Park High School and Berry Middle School.
