Apple Valley is a neighborhood in Birmingham's East Pinson Valley community. It is located in the extreme northeastern tip of the city limits, bordered by Center Point and the unincorporated Pinson community. Birmingham's Sun Valley neighborhood adjoins it to the southwest.
The neighborhood is accessed from Pinson Valley Parkway (Alabama State Highway 79) and Center Point Parkway (Alabama State Highway 75)
The neighborhood is represented in Birmingham City Council District 1. Students in the neighborhood attend Sun Valley Elementary School, Smith Middle School, and Huffman High School. There are no public buildings or parks in the neighborhood.
The Apple Valley Neighborhood Association meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Center Point Church of the Nazarene. Tommy Heard is the neighborhood president.
