The Honda Superbike Classic was an annual event in the "AMA Chevy Trucks U. S. Superbike Championship". It consisted of a two-race event held annually in the Spring at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham. The races featured modified street motorcycles with up to 1000cc displacement racing over 100 kilometers (28 laps).

In 2010, Barber hosted the AMA Superbike Championship in September instead of the Spring races.

The event was moved from April to September for the 2010 race, making it the final event in the annual AMA Pro Road Racing circuit. In 2011 the track resumed hosting a spring event.
