The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs is a non-profit organization that provides programs for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. It was founded in 1984 by Bettie Bell as a program of the Service Guild of Birmingham. The current director is Jeannie Colquett.
For most of its history, the Bell Center was housed in an 11,000 square-foot building at the site of its present facility at 1700 29th Court South in Homewood. The former office building was purchased in 1994 by the Service Guild and demolished in 2018 for construction of the new building. The current 17,700 square-foot building was designed by Craig Krawczyk of LIVE Design Group and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie for $6.6 million. It opened in May 2019.
