Charles Pollard Marks (born in Tennessee) was a vice president at the Jemison Real Estate Company and a partner in the real estate firm of W. B. Leedy & Co. He was also president of the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District until 1936. Marks Village in Gate City was named in his honor.

Marks was married to the former Isabel Caldwell. Manufacturing executive Caldwell Marks was their son.
