Chas Chamberlain is a collage artist and an art director for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado.

Chamberlain moved to the Birmingham area in 1963 and finished grade school at Berry High School in Hoover. He went on to Auburn University and then joined the U. S. Navy. In 1974 he returned to Birmingham and took up residence in Southside, where he met and later married Ann-Clare Collins.

He took classes at UAB while working at DJ's Greenhouse, Kwik Kopy Printing, and the Birmingham Post-Herald. He left Birmingham to take a job with the Philadelphia Inquirer before moving to Colorado.

Chamberlain and his wife have three daughters.
