The Chelsea Public Library is a public library operated by the City of Chelsea and located at 16623 U.S. Highway 280 in a building that previously housed the Merchants & Farmers Bank and Renasant Bank. The library director is Dana Polk.

The library was first established in 2001, in offices on the upper floor of the same bank building. It later moved to space in the Chelsea City Hall, and then to the John Crane residence across the street at 41 Weldon Drive in 2011.

The library moved into the entire 5,300 square-foot bank building in 2018. The former vault was converted into space for young adults and the children's library housed on the upper floor.
